Note: prices also include a brief advisory report on how to improve the property’s B.E.R. rating. All prices also include 30 euro fee to SEI for inclusion in the national B.E.R. register
Houses (terraced, semi- detached, detached)
Single or double bedroom house (up to 100 sq metres) 225 euro
Three bedroom house (100 – 150 sq metres) 290 euro
Four bedroom house (150 sq metres upwards) 350 euro
Large house (5 bedrooms or more. 160 sq metres upwards) 425 euro
Apartments
(Duplex units shall be considered in the same bracket as houses for the purposes of pricing based on the size of the property)
Single or double bedroom apartment (up to 70 sq metres) 190 euro
Three bedroom apartment (70 - 100 sq metres) 225 euro
Penthouse apartment (4 bedrooms or more. 100 sq metres upwards) 300 euro
Note: A group of apartments that have the exact same layout will be charged at half price for every apartment that is an exact copy of the original. E.g. If you have five 2 bed apartments that are exactly the same the first shall be charged at 190 euro and each exact copy after that 95 euro. A total of 570 euro instead of the standard price of 950 euro.
Provisional Survey
(A brief survey on the property followed by a provisional BER and suggestions on how to improve the rating. Note: You may consider this if you feel a low BER rating would affect market positioning)
Houses and apartments 100 euro
Process
If the property is not a newly built dwelling (first hand, where accurate construction drawings and specifications can be easily obtained) a survey will need to be carried out. After the survey has been completed you will receive your B.E.R. in 1-2 weeks.
